Jennifer Crawford, Republican

The Coroner's Office here in Canyon County consists of just one elected official and four Deputy Coroners who cover the entire county on death investigation calls. The office also employs a Pathologist to oversee autopsy cases. Canyon County has one of the highest growth rates in Idaho, and with the increasing population the Coroner's Office has its own influx of cases. The majority of people do not know what a Coroner's Office does for the County, or of the various challenges it faces. Having worked in the Coroner's Office for many years, I had the experience needed as well as firsthand knowledge of the changes that need be made. I am proud to say that I have made the necessary improvements that are imperative for the Coroner's Office be compliant with the policies currently set into place in order to protect its integrity.

ABOUT JENNIFER

Growing up in Idaho I grew to love the smell of the Amalgamated Sugar Beet Factory. I watched I-84 begin as a two-lane highway becoming what it is today.  Growing up in a small community has allowed me the opportunity to play outside until the street lights came on, and gain friends that would last a lifetime. Most importantly

I want to set the example of an environment I would raise my own children in.
